There are 21 bedrooms in two buildings. All rooms have central heating. There are shower and bathroom facilities for men and women in both buildings.
There is a comfortable centrally-heated lounge and dining area, around a wood burning stove in winter. There is no television or radio but fun and conversation are not prohibited!
Breakfast, lunch and a main meal at night are provided in the dining area. Tea and coffee facilities are available day and night.
There is a no smoking rule in the main buildings but space is available for people who want to smoke. They are welcome.
Apart from the main course hall, there is a healing room for quiet meditation and other classrooms for therapies / activities.
There is a shop selling crystals, T-shirts, prints and other goods.
A library is planned and donations would be welcomed.
More accommodation and space for other therapies / activities is planned in the oldest building on the site, the original Boys’ Club Centre, which currently needs renovation and restoration. It is hoped to have rooms in use by the end of the year (2003) and if you are interested in using this space please contact the Centre.
Overspill accommodation is provided in timber framed lodges situated inside a circle of trees about 15 minutes from the site. For pictures and details go to www.heronstone.co.uk. The lodges are self-contained and all visitors can have full-board at Hafan-y-Coed if they wish. There will be an additional charge for this accommodation which should be booked via Hafan-y-Coed administration.
