Hafan Y Coed (Haven of trees) is a spiritual develpment retreat/centre situated in the picturesque Brecon Beacons National park, near Cribarth or the 'Sleeping Giant' mountain which is surrounded by trees and streams, where all the natural energies provide a perfect place for spiritual growth, relaxation, revitalisation and contemplation.

Hafan Y Coed is unique due to it's location, in a place of outstanding natural beauty, and is therefore an ideal base for groups:- ramblers, bird watchers, walkers, artists and geologists who wish to enjoy the beauty of the Brecon Beacons and surrounding areas.

Other things you may want to see or do while you are here :- Walking to our lake, or simply rambling on the Brecons. A five minute drive away is Craig-y-Nos Castle, home of Adelina Patti. Less than 10 minutes away is the Danyr-Ogof National Show Cave Centre for Wales. A short drive from Hafan Y Coed is the Cefn-yr-Erw Primate Sanctuary takes in and cares for primates or you can fish on the river Tawe for trout, salmon (skewin), go canoeing, climbing or mountain bike riding.
